Prometheus along with Epimetheus was given the task to make creatures for the Earth.

Epimetheus has
given all the good qualities like swiftness and strength to all the other creatures until nothing was left for
man. And so, Prometheus decided to give man the capacity to stand upright like the gods. He also gave
them the gift of fire. But then Zeus got so mad at Prometheus. He was so mad that he punished
Prometheus. His punishment was he was to be chained to a rock then a vulture would come every night
and eat his liver. then his liver would regrow then be eaten again. Until Heracles saved him. So that is
the story of Prometheus.
