Etiology
The etiology of ADHD is genetically based in more than 70% of
cases, although it is also associated with great prematurity,
consumption of toxins in pregnancy or high levels of stress during
its development.

It should be noted that although environmental factors affect the

severity and evolution of ADHD, they are not the cause of the
syndrome.
