LS2401
Application LS2401 is thermoplastic low-smoke halogen-free
insulation compounds.

The properties can meet RoHS Standard. They have

excellent mechanical and flame-retardant properties with
temperature resistant from -40℃to 90℃. They are mainly
used for the insulation of communication cables,control
cables and power cables.

Process Technology

①Temperature Setting of Extruder：

Recommend to use special screw for low-smoke halogen-free compound with L/D=20-25.

②The compound should be dried before using if the package is broken. Once package is
open, recommend to run out within 12 hours.
③Please ensure the screw, barrel, hopper are thoroughly cleaned before operation. Avoid
bringing impurities while processing.
④If you need a faster extrusion. Please accelerate screw speed gradually to avoid
inadequate plasticizing which may cause rough surface of the cables.
⑤The above temperature settings are the most typical ones. With different extruder
devices, it can be adjusted in terms of the practical situation after extrusion in use,
combining with melting pressure and current, in order to achieve the best extrusion result.

Packages
LS2401 is in pellet form and packed in 25kg PE inner bags, and Kraft paper outer bags.

Storage
LS2401 should be stored under clean, cool, dry and ventilated conditions. Away from
moisture and directly sunlight.
