Subject: Modifications to pressure control valve for high pressure CP1

pumps

The 1st generation CP1 Common rail system pressure is controlled by a high-pressure control
valve.

The following technical modifications have been made to the pressure-control valve.
• Strainer upstream of the high pressure bore.
• Flat seal instead of low pressure sealing ring.

The pressure-control valve with strainer replaces the previous version.

Note:
• The strainer is not to be cleaned. If damaged the pressure-control valve is to be replaced.
• The pressure-control valve is not to be fitted without flat seal.
