Dear Sir,
Undersigned was on tour from 28.02.2020 to 01.03.2020 to coordinate with BTPS Site and Manufacturing units so as
to ensure smooth work progress towards completion of COD activities.

Unit‐1 current status to achieve COD:

 Station Transformer‐1 was charged on 28.02.2020
 Unit‐1 Boiler was Lighted up at 14:08 Hrs on 28.02.2020
 Generator Transformer‐1, Unit Transformer‐1 A & B were also charged and load test was completed.
 TG is on barring.
 Fire protection system completion areas:
 Temporary spray header is lined up and made operational for DV station of GT, ST, & UAT and
demonstrated to Customer.
 Spray and foam system for HFO TANK‐1 is ready.
 Foam system for LDO tanks is ready
 Spray system for BCN 10, Conv. 6a/b, and bunker Conv. is ready.
 APRDS, Seal steam system and HP/LP bypass lines charging was completed.
 Coal filled in 3 Nos of bunkers up to 250T out of 648T through Coal conveyors (ERH route).
 3 Feeders (A, B & C) lined up and Firing with Coal is also completed.

UF system contingency controller HRH Safety valves

UF System commissioning:
 1st Stream UF System commissioning is completed on 29.02.2020 with BHEL made contingency controller.
 Balance 2nd & 3rd will be completed with system PLC only.

DM water quality at MB (Mixed Bed) outlet is around 9/10ppb (with in allowable limits).
DM Water availability:
DM Tanks: 2 Nos of DM tanks (each capacity 1500KL or 12Meter Height).
CST Tanks: 2 Nos of CS tanks (each capacity 750KL or 10Meter Height).
Note: Round the clock, Customer (from TSGENCO) available, DM water generation will be carried out as
per requirement.
HFO System:
LDO forwarding pumps for unit 1 & 2 are ready and operational.
LDO Tank: 2 nos tank ready and operational.
HFO Tank: 1st tank erection completed along with unloading system (trail completed with one HFO road tanker). 7th
lift of 2nd tank completed. HFO unloading Pump erection completed.
