PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

 Lead the development of structural integrity management systems for fixed and
floating assets
 Develop innovative, proactive structural integrity standards suitable for both new and
ageing assets
 Provide operating assets with day to day technical guidance on management of
structural integrity
 Work with asset integrity engineers and structural integrity contractors to ensure
compliance with structural integrity management system, and relevant codes and
standards.
 Support development of structural inspection programs covering topsides, jackets,
hulls and subsea structures
 Ensure suitability of execution plans and alignment with structural inspection
requirements
 Work with topsides and subsea inspection contractors to ensure best value from the
inspection activities
 Evaluation of anomalies and support development of repair requirements
 Ensure alignment of fabric maintenance strategies with structural integrity
requirements
 Focal point for structural integrity management contractors
 Work with integrity management contractors to ensure an integrated approach to
structural integrity management activities

 Development and maintenance of multi-year look ahead for structural assessment,


inspections and plans
 Monitor contractor performance
 Develop integrity metrics and systems to track performance for the assets
 Provide ad-hoc support to assets and projects
 Work closely with brownfield project teams to ensure that appropriate structural
solutions are identified and implemented
 Work closely with the Integrity Manager to ensure that EnQuest values are reflected in
the way asset integrity is managed

Structural Integrity Engineer

Experience

Specific to role:

 Demonstrated engineering skills, with a background in structural integrity management


 Degree qualified with several years of experience working in the oil and gas or similar
industry
 Demonstrated ability to deliver pragmatic engineering scopes in the working
environment
 Ability to frame and solve engineering problems with appropriate, innovative solutions
 Understanding of integrity as it applies to the offshore oil and gas industry
 Understanding of offshore structural integrity management
 Knowledge of relevant codes and standards and regulatory requirements for fixed and
floating structures.
 Awareness of structural assessment techniques

QUALIFICATIONS

Specific to role:

 Chartered Engineer, or working towards chartered Status


 Offshore survival, medical and MIST certification is desirable
 Candidates must be qualified to Degree Level in a relevant Engineering
subject;
