Activity No. 1- IMPORTANCE OF HISTORY

1. Watch the four videos under Nature and Relevance of History then answer the following questions.
Why is history became so boring?
The real reason why it became boring because its not
clear to us what it should for. But history can’t be
boring because its too important to us because history
provide solution to many problems of the present.
Also its important to know what happened in the past
because those are the reason why we are like this
now.
Why is it important to study history?
According to Peter Jakab
Base on him, First of all it is fun it can always see more
interesting story than fictional story its also allows us
where we are where we going without that we can’t
move forward.

Explain which of the two is correct
a. “Those who don’t know history won’t be able to
improve the present.”
b. “Those who don’t know history are doomed to
repeat it.”
Those who don’t know the history are doomed to
repeat it, that is true because by studying history we
learn from our past mistakes it also gain insights about
people, culture, governments an countries are in their
current state. Those who don’t know the history they
are not knowledgeable what are the mistake
happened in the past so they can’t change it so it may
possible to repeat it.
What is the difference of Paleontology and Geology
from History?
Paleontology means study of evolution of dinosaur
while geology how creatures created mountains and
Valleys.
We need to study history so we don’t get complacent
with your wrong time that will you get realize there is
some issue that we are facing now is also issue in the
past like issues about society, culture, citizenship and
tourist. We need to study history for us help wear
complexity.

It is important to study history because history
explains why the world like this when you understand
a nation or region’s history that’s best for many
others.

Base on him, there is very familiar that people who
don’t learn from the past are condemn to be repeated
it is important to remember the other side of the
equation that people who don’t study the past also
get the chance to be repeated so that we need to
learn from the past too.

How does history allow us to develop critical thinking skills?-History make us ask question and seek out multiple

where we are. But also the only constant it changes by knowing what is worth in the past we can continue to
improve and move forward.

History become interrelated with the business, technology, science and other fields because many professions
