Why MBA

Management is doing the right things and leadership is all about doing things right, according to
Peter Drucker, an American management consultant and writer.  

I am a person who can envision myself in the management field as true passion and a unique thirst
for knowledge act as driving forces within me.  

Challenges stir me up, responsibilities jolt me awake, leadership platforms bring out the best in me.

Consequently, I am still a keen learner in this field and a further master’s degree would give me an
edge and solidify my knowledge and skills along with a chance to explore my creative side and
embellish my management wisdom.

My Academic background-

I hail from the Indian state of Rajasthan. I passed the 10th grade exam with 8.2 CGPA out of 10 and
12th grade (commerce) with 90% from Central Academy, Jodhpur.

Later, I did my BSc. in Economics honors from Symbiosis School of Economics, Pune. I passed the
course with 6.15 GPA out of 10 in May 2018. During my graduation, I have learned various
interesting subjects like Micro-Macro Economics, Law and Economic Theory, Theory and Application
of Public Finance, Mathematical Economics, Business Accounting, Indian Banking and Financial
System, Introductory German etc. My degree has enabled me in inculcating good communication
skills and the opportunity to realize the importance of management in an organization.

My technical skills are sound, I believe. I have working knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating
systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlooks, Java, MYSQL, SPSS etc. I perform all these
duties well and according to my seniors and colleagues, I am nothing short of a workaholic person
who is extremely reliable and committed.

Extra-Curricular Achievements-

My college department has provided me with ample opportunities which helped me to write a
research paper on the topic “Success of Pomegranate cultivation in Budiwada” in my third year. Apart
from that I did two internships, one with Birla Institute of Scientific Research (BISR) and another with
Nirmal Bang Securities. During my graduation, I actively participated in various competitions. I also
volunteered at desk for Orchid’s Our Marathon which is held every year for spreading breast cancer
awareness and I was also an active member of our college club called Samarpan. Further I’ve attended
various workshops like Transforming India 2030: Strategies for Sustainable Development Goals,
Suresh Tendulakar Memorial Lecture, Urban Development, Interactive session on Agrarian Crisis. I
have been a part of all these activities which helped me interact with different kind of people.

Goals-
I want to pursue a career in the fields of finance and my goal is to work in a leading firm which
makes the best use of its knowledge to achieve its targets. After completing the course, I plan to join
the ranks of a multinational company. It would be a dream come true if I am able to work abroad in
a respectful position. I am sure the experience would add a real feather in my cap. With the help of
MBA degree, I see myself becoming an independent individual who can work in an environment with
numerous duties. Along with a strong educational background this study will help me in making a
difference in my professional life.

Why Australia?

Australian universities have programs and academic courses that are recognized globally. Australia is
also the 3rd most preferred destination for international students, modern facilities are used in
training on advanced curriculums assisted by qualified faculties in Australian universities. Australia is
home to students from all over the world.

Australia boasts a remarkable mix of cultures and a diverse welcoming society. Studying in Australia
is also beneficial as it is a great place to live and international students can work part-time also to
supplement their other living expenses. Australia also has mesmerizing beauty with wild ocean
beaches, wildlife, rainforests and historic buildings.

Why Masters from an esteemed university?

After the thorough research, I learned that a course in a prestigious university is more than simple
theory. A decent level of practical exposure is what we receive out of such study programs. For this,
you need to join a foreign university.

Also, foreign universities provide the right atmosphere to test our knowledge in a real-life
environment. Above all, the world has turned into a mini-village in today’s era of globalization and to
be able to learn with a global perspective in mind is a blessing.

I choose to study for my further education from esteemed university because of their great
reputation and renowned academic excellence. The flexible post graduate scheme which includes
choosing the modules of our personal interest also captivated me towards Queensland University of
Technology.

QUT, a hub of international students, is widely regarded as the melting pot of cultures and
languages. This global atmosphere is exactly what I crave for and delighted to finally come across the
apt place.

The institution has the 19th rank globally and the course is capable enough to hone my existing skills.
The efficient pedagogy, world class faculty and top-notch facilities prompted me to zero in on the
institution. Moreover, a master’s degree QUT will open doors for me and enable me to achieve and
goal that I set for myself, and I am therefore very much looking forward to the opportunity to begin
learning.
