I. INTRODUCTION
Arts and crafts are important means of expression, which communicate views, ideas, and
feelings through the use of skills and imagination. These are important parts of our daily lives
and can be found everywhere. It will take you to the journey of arts and crafts of Luzon
(highlands and lowlands) Familiarizing the different design, motifs and history of their attires,
fabrics, crafts and accessories used by the people of different regions.

ELEMENTS OF ARTS
A line is a path made by moving point through space. It is one-
dimensional and can vary in width, direction and length.
Shapes are flat, enclosed areas that are two dimensional (length
and height) Artist use both geometric and organic shapes
Color is perceived by the way the light reflects on its surface.
There three properties of color: Hue (color name) intensity
(strength/purity), and value (lightness and darkness
Value describes the lightness and darkness of a surface.
Texture describes the surface quality of an object. Artists use
both actual texture (how things feel) and implied texture (how
things look like they feel).
Space is used to create the illusion of depth within an artwork. It
can also refer to the positive and negative space between, around
and within object.
Forms are three-dimension (length, width and height) can be
viewed from many angles. Forms have volume and take up
space.
