1. Introduction
BGP will utilized 4 barges during NW-Tunu 3D seismic acquisition process. The
barge are utilized for accommodation, fuel, workshop and explosive storage. To
secure the barge, anchoring system will be use for workshop and fuel barge. The
accommodation and explosive barge will be secured in place using piling.
On 17th Dec, 2012, all the piling job has been completed. BGP will demobilize
the tug boat Sea World I and piling barge Bandhar 3 to Samarinda, including the
piling machine on barge and all crews. The tug boat will follow the route to return
to Samarinda as it did bringing the barge from Samarinda to piling location, see
annex.
Before the towing, a safety meeting will be conducted by BGP HSEA to the
crews, the topic is as below:
1. Confirm the towing route with captain of the tug boat. Follow the planned
route, the same route as towing barge from Samarinda to working area.
5. Captain of tug boat should communicate with NPU (CH 16) when entering the
area.
6. To pay attention when entering GTS L area (underwater pipelines) and follow
instruction from NPU to follow route between island sand very shallow area.

PT. Luwu Raya will apply shifting permit for the piling barge and BGP will apply
shifting permit for tug boat. See in annex.
4. Environment
Before the demobilization from the working site, PT. Luwu Raya will ensure that
all waste is properly collected and segregated according to TEPI waste
segregation procedure. All waste transferred back to Samarinda will be
accompanied by a waste manifest / transmittal.
