ASSIGNMENT QUESTION

This assignment is focussed on the management of a programme for co-curricular


excellence at a school of your choice. Those programme is implemented to ensure the
effectiveness and efficiency of co-curricular activities at the school. Study how such a
programme is implemented from the Planning-Organising-Directing-Control (PODC)
Model perspective. The programme also needs to be evaluated for its effectiveness.

Based on the perspective of the PODC Model, students should gather information from
relevant documents, records or internet sources related to the school's co-curriculum
matters.

PART 1
You are required to provide a report containing the following:
(1) Introduction;
(2) Description on a selected programme;
(3) Reviewing the Planning-Organising activities;
(4) Reviewing the Directing-Controlling activities;
(5) Conclusion;
(6) References (with APA format); and
(7) Academic writing organisation.

PART 2
Based on the report in Part A above, evaluate the programme effectiveness. Then, suggest
actions that can be taken to help schools to improve the effectiveness of the programme.

SOALAN TUGASAN

Tugasan ini menfokuskan kepada pengurusan suatu program kecemerlangan kokurikulum di


sekolah pilihan anda. Program tersebut dilaksanakan bertujuan untuk memastikan
keberkesanan dan kecekapan aktiviti kokurikulum di sekolah. Kaji bagaimana program
sedemikian dilaksanakan dengan berdasarkan kepada perspektif Model Perancangan-
Penyusunan-Pengarahan-Pengawalan (Planning-Organising-Directing-Controling, PODC).
Program tersebut juga perlu dinilai keberkesanannya.

Dengan berasaskan perspektif Model PODC, pelajar perlu mengumpulkan maklumat


daripada dokumen-dokumen, rekod-rekod atau sumber-sumber internet yang relevan
dengan hal ehwal ko-kurikulum sekolah tersebut.

BAHAGIAN 1
Anda dikehendaki menyediakan laporan yang terdiri daripada perkara-perkara berikut:
(1) Pengenalan;
(2) Huraian tentang program yang dipilih;
(3) Kajian semula aktiviti Perancangan-Penyusunan;
(4) Kajian semula aktiviti Pengarahan-Pengawalan;
(5) Kesimpulan;
(6) Rujukan (dalam format APA); dan
(7) Organisasi penulisan akademik.
