Write a summary of the activity

I liked this class very much because I learned that a person can have a "brother" or "sister". We
can call them "siblings" as well. "Mom" and "dad" are the names of the "parents," and they can
have a "sibling" or two. Mom's sister is aunt; my father's brother is uncle. If they have children,
they would be your cousins.
practice at home by calling my family in English and trying to associate the terms with my daily
life so that I can fill my vocabulary with words that will help me have a dialogue.

What did you learn? Examples.

I learned to differentiate the family members and put into practice with these dialogues which
helped me to better understand:

Sam: “I can’t believe that your grandparents are still alive!”

“¡No puedo creer que tus abuelos todavía estén vivos!”
John: “Hah! You should sit down then, because I still have both great-grandparents on my mom’s
side!”
“¡Ah! Entonces debes sentarte, ¡porque todavía tengo a mis dos bisabuelos por parte de mi
mamá! “

Sam: “Goodness! I have a great uncle living in Canada, but I never see him.”
“¡Dios mío! Tengo un tío abuelo que vive en Canadá, pero nunca lo veo.”

John: “You should get in touch. It’s great to have a sense of one’s family tree.”
“Deberías ponerte en contacto. Es bueno tener una noción de nuestro árbol genealógico.”

Sam: “Where do you all live?”

“¿Dónde viven todos?”
