SSG Project Proposal


Series of 2020 (2020-2021)

I. Project Title:
“SciHi Vortex”

II. Project Proponent:


This project is headed by the Supreme Student Government (SSG), Special
Projects Committee.

III. Project Rationale:


With the new normal, our day to day living has drastically changed, not just in the
field of education but also to those who are in the market. It has been a challenge for
them to continue on what they are used to in the aspect of their sales, marketing
strategies and etc. from which, they’re forced to deal with unpaid and unmet obligations.
In line with this, the school’s faculty and staff as well as the students are also struggling
in the aftermath of the pandemic. This project would like to lend a hand for them to
operate and cope with the struggle of keeping up with the new environment.

IV. Project Objectives:


- To provide students discounts in any purchase
- To help businesses market their products
- To develop a path back to profitability
- To offer a budget friendly service for the students and for the school’s faculty
and staff
- To alleviate the impact of the pandemic for the school’s faculty and staff, the
students and for the business owners

V. Project Description:
This project is partnered with different business establishments together with the
help of our officers, students, school’s faculty and staff and the support and cooperation
of the business owners which aims to provide students and the school’s faculty and staff
discounts through the use of their School Identification Cards / IDs. Furthermore, the
discount system will be established by the business owners through the Memorandum of
Agreement (MOA).

VI. Project Duration:


The project will be implemented throughout the School Year 2020-2021, and
hopefully for the proceeding years.

VII. Target Beneficiaries:


The project will benefit the school’s faculty and staff, the students and the
business owners.
VIII. Proposed Budget:
Money is not needed in implementing this project.

IX. Monitoring and Evaluation:


The project will be overall managed by the Supreme Student Government (SSG),
Special Projects Committee and the business owners.
