coast as well as the Florida Coast and explaining why we are seeing declines in these species
● Recorded the reliance of saltwater waterfowl species on this aquatic vegetation
● Identified the Atlantic Brant as one of the most dependent species of waterfowl on eelgrass popu-
lations along the Atlantic Coast from New York down to the Carolinas
● Correlated this data and concluding that shoreline hardening to create recreational and habitable
coastlines for humans is leading to a decline in aquatic vegetation and waterfowl

ing asphalt, concrete, grass, using an Onset HOBO MX2201 data recorder
● Analyzed recorded data statistically using a paired, two sample for means t test
● Organized data onto a map created in ArcGIS to show the breakdown of surface types throughout
the Stockton University campus as well as their temperature differences
