• Field work included collecting pH, conductivity, temperature, and other qualitative measurements for

a record year for total successful sea turtle hatchlings. Updated Rookery Bay’s Blog.
• Identified Loggerhead sea turtle crawls, located eggs, and caged them to protect from
predators. Excavated nests after hatching (~60 days) and logged success rate.
Recorded juvenile & adult Loggerhead/Kemp’s Ridley turtle strandings.
Field Work Assistant Aug 2017
34th Annual North Cascades Glacier Climate Project: North Cascades, WA
• Camped and hiked 6-7 miles a day to monitor glacier ablation on seven
glaciers with glaciologist Dr. Mauri Pelto for 2.5 weeks (https://tinyurl.com/ycxkj35c).
• Measured crevasse and snowpack depth, stream runoff, and horizontal/vertical profiling.
