1. PURPOSE
The purpose of this material submittal is to obtain approval of Gasket sheets for application
as liners in primary pipe supports and other temporary applications. The supplier of gasket sheets
shall be Qatar German Gasket Factory.
2. SCOPE

Qatar German Gasket Factory (Q-GER) can manufacture high quality of Metallic and Non-Metallic gaskets for industrial use
and also known for excellence in material as well as its outstanding customer service.
Our New Gasket Factory is equipped with latest technology which is capable of manufacturing all type of gaskets to meet
customer’s demand in the gulf region. Our SPIRAL WOUND GASKETS, METAL JACKETED, RING JOINTS and NON METALLIC
GASKETS are successfully used by major oil & petrochemical companies such as Qatar Petroleum, RASGAS, QAPCO, Oryx GTL,
QATARGAS, Dolphin Energy, Maersk Oil, QAFAC, Qatar Vinyl, Pearl GTL and Other industries like Kahramaa, Ashgal etc.
It is our main target to participate in this particular product line, which is the reason why we approach you since you require
this kind of gaskets.

1, SPIRAL WOUND GASKETS Graphite/Teflon filled from ½” to 60” Nominal Pipe Size according to ASME B16.20,BSEN 12560,
EN 1514 and your specified dimensions with S304L,S316L,S321,S347,MONEL,INCOLOY 800/825,INCONNEL
600/625,DUPLEX,X750 And many other exotic material.
2, HEAT EXCHANGER GASKETS (DOUBLE JACKETED/CAMPROFILE GASKETS)

Heat Exchanger gaskets with various shapes and sizes can be produced in accordance with ASME B16.20 and customer
specifications with wide range of material at your request.
3, RING JOINT GASKETS in different types (i.e.; R-oval/octagonal, RX, BX series.) and sizes. All standard gaskets are
manufactured in accordance with ASME B16.20/ API 6A with soft Iron and S316 as standard materials. All other materials are
available upon request. We are also approved by API spec 6A and API Monogram (pls. see attached certificate for your
reference)
4, NON METALLIC GASKETS made of Asbestos Free Materials, Graphite, Rubber and Teflon.
5, We use raw materials from Europe and USA like SGL-GERMANY, REINZ GERMANY, GARLOCK-USA AND THYSSEN STEELS.
Material Test Certificate according to EN 10204 3.1/2.2 can be supplied up on request with free of charge.
7, Our strict Quality Assurance guarantees that all gaskets are manufactured according to the required standards and our
quality management system is in accordance with the requirements of API Q1 Specs And ISO 9001:2015. Pls. see attached

Elastomeric gaskets with different chemical and mechanical properties are being supplied to oil
and petrochemical industries, sewerage & chilled water sector and exclusively for Potable water
applications.
There are varieties of elastomeric gaskets, gasket sheets/rolls with different sizes which are
produced against the international standards such as ASME B16.21, BS EN 1514-1, JIS etc.

EPDM (WRAS approved) Rubber iInsulation Kit
Q-GER EPDM Rubber Insulation sets are used to limit corrosion in pipeline systems. Where dissimilar metals are
present, the sets remove the possibility of the system acting as a galvanic cell and reduce the risk of galvanic corrosion
of the pipework.
Each flange insulation set comprises with one Isolating gasket, one insulation sleeve per bolt and two insulating G10
and two zinc plated steel /SS washers per bolt. The sets are individually packed and clearly labelled with the flange
rating, size, type and material combination.
Sleeves and Washers Set
A double washer configuration is used for added protection against the possibility of shorting out the nuts and bolts. In
addition, double washer sets electrically isolates the nuts and bolts from both flanges.

like RASGAS, QCHEM, QATERGAS,RLOC,ASHGAL,etc for their
piping works.
