Why there is a need for the models for effective teaching?
2. Cite some Filipino traits that may hinder the making of a professional teacher and
explain each.
3. Between the professional and personal qualities of a teacher, which ones are
perceived to be more important?
4. With the demands of society from teachers, are you in favour of the 4 year course
and components of the teacher education program? Why?

1. Recall your most memorable teacher who had the greatest impact in your life. Write
down the special qualities that you like in him/her. Did he/she influenced you in
your choice to enrol in the teacher education program?

C. REFLECTIONS:

1. At this point in your life, think of ways on how you can enhance the personal traits
that you already have and develop those that you don’t have to help yourself
become the teacher that society expects.
