By using Piaget’s Theory of Cognitive Development, explain how your personal experiences are
related to each of the stages in your life.

On my personal experience on the sensori-motor stage which is between 0-2 years old i dont really
remember what i been go through and i believe i just like others baby,i dont really do much other
than drinking body milk,crying in the middle of a night and make my mom change my diapers.So i
believe sensori-motor is the stage where we only see and hear things which we cant
understand.For pre operational age between 2-7 years old,what i remember is my mom saying
that i didnt really got kindergarten where children goes to at the age of 4-5.I go straight to a pre-
school to get early education.In conclusion in the pre-operational stage is where parents will get
early education so that their can think more rationally before getting into the primary school.In the
concrete operational stage is between 7-11 years old,i believe at that age i was in primary school
studying so much for my first big exam that is UPSR.At that time i dont really know what will
happen if i do it badly and what i know is if i can get many for it,i can make my parents
happy.Based on my experince,i think that in the concrete operational stage is where we can think
and solve a problem that we have learned in class so that it can help up make our decision.Lastly
for the formal operational stage where it is at the age of 12,it is where i make my first big decision
which is choosing a secondary school.At that time i dont really understand what the point of
choosing and dont know what really gonna effect my life in the future,so i choose to go for a really
known school in my state.So in conclusion,i believe at the formal operational stage is the stage we
need to think about the process and try to come with an answer.
