TEACHER NAME:

Game: Egg beater

Aim: The aim of this game is to improve passing skills and to improve layups.
Goal of the game: The goal of the game is to score 17 points within a 2 minute
timeframe.

Equipment:
• 2 Basketballs
• Basketball court
• Timer

Instructions
1. Get organized into 2 even teams
2. Line up on the base line
3. The first player from team 1 runs to the three-point line facing team 2 and the first
player from team 2 throws the basketball using a chest pass to the player from the 1st
team and then runs behind the 1st team’s player (following the same steps as the other
player but in the opposite direction) to the three point line stopping when faced in front
of team 1.
4. Team 1’s 2nd player chest passes the ball to team 2’s player that is waiting at the
three-point line.
5. After the balls have been caught, the players do a layup towards the free throw
line and shoot the balls into the hoop and if it lands in the hoop they score a point.
6. After shooting, the players throw the ball back to the same team they caught the
ball from and join that team by standing at the end of the line.
7. By keeping in sync, the players moving around create an egg-beater motion.
8. The goal is to reach 17 points within 2 mins
