1. Reference: Chief BFP FDIR JOSE SEGUNDO EMBANG JR DSC Lingap
Bumbero and Extended Basic Assistance of Necessary Goods Relief Mission in Albay,
06 November 2020.
2. Immediately two (2) days after Super Typhoon Rolly has passed, devastating
Bikol particularly causing lahar floods that covered 300 families in the province of Albay,
the undersigned immediately organized a search and retrieval operation , re: Alistong-
Bumberong-Bikolano which when news of the operation reached the BFP National
Headquarters, the Chief BFP with the support of the BFP NCR Director to organize the
relief mission.
3. The relief mission was received warmly by the victims of the lahar flooding and
the goods were formally turned-over to Hon. Gemma Ongjoco Municipal Mayor of
Guinobatan in a ceremony held at Marcial O. Ranola School Covered Court. The
remaining relief goods were distributed to the Municipality of Malinao based on the
DSWDs partial report on Damaged Houses with 10,477 as compared among the most
hit municipality combined.
