2. Explain deeply the “The Spectrum Components of Materials” using your own
examples.

The Spectrum Components of Materials comprises four components which are


processing, structure, properties, and performance. To further explain the relationship
between these components, take a look at figure 1 which shows the schematic diagram of
the discipline of materials science and engineering. This diagram simply implies that the
structure of a material will depend on how it is processed and the material’s performance
will be a function of its properties.
