1. Start assembly structure in ground using 100 ton and but wood under H-beam
2. The H-beam is bed together and brace with bolts
3. Weight of H-beam is 1.5 ton
4. Work Preparation: Arranging Work equipments in work area for the lifting job.
5. Clear area for working afforded at all times by client.
6. Ground preparatory work to be carried out prior to arrival of crane and to be able to
withstand the loadings imposed during this operation.
7. Centre of gravity to be clearly marked on the Items to be lifted.
8. Daily coordination meetings carried out as per site standard procedures, with owner’s
Representative and other contractors during Heavy Lift schedule.
On the days that the lifting and installation are taking place there will be a ‘toolbox’ meeting
prior to the start of activities that will review.
9. All equipment within this procedure is to have current certification at the time of installation
and colour tagged to indicate correlation. All the equipment is to be inspected prior to
mobilization by a Heavy Equipment Inspector and signed off fit for purpose. At site the
equipment will be inspected by the HL Supervisor and owner representative and when
correlated to the certification it will be colour tagged.
10. Prior to commencement of work, work areas and exclusion zones will be set up and
demarcated using hazard bunting tape.
11. Dressing to be held as required to prevent interference with lifting tackle, lifting equipment
or structures along lift path where required. Any protrusions from item that may interfere
with the same are to be removed to avoid possible interference during the lift.
12. House Keeping before and after job for any combustible material or any inflammable
material.
