Title: Experience of the office goers regarding road traffic.

Akshay C. Jadhav, Ganesh Gholap, Roshan Alva

Introduction
India is a country with the second largest road network in the world. Out of the total stretch
of 5.4 million km of road network, almost 97,991 km is covered by national highways.
Traffic congestion is a condition on transport that is characterised by slower speeds, longer
trip times, and increased vehicular queueing. Traffic congestion on urban road networks has
become increasingly problematic since the 1950s. When traffic demand is great enough that
the interaction between vehicles slows the speed of the traffic stream, this results in some
congestion. While congestion is a possibility for any mode of transportation, this article will
focus on automobile congestion on public roads and office going people facing problems due
to traffic. The number of vehicles in India is quickly increasing as a growing middle class can
now afford to buy cars. India's road conditions have not kept up with the increase in vehicle
numbers. This traffic has caused problems in the daily life of office people.
