other stakeholders, there were problems that had to overcome

such as 1) availability of the trainer to handle the training, 2)
complementation of schedules of both the faculty trainers and
of the youth, 3) sudden activity of the youth on other event in
LP4Y center, 4) different time of recruitment and entry of the
youth to the center, 5) different level of educational
background of the youth. With the passion and dedication of
internal and external English trainers/volunteers, the foreign
coaches, and the interventions done by them, everything
became glorious and successful.
As per LP4Y coach and the organization, after the
completion of the training of the youth in TUPT, some of them
were employed as salesclerk and cashier at Decathlon and
Lazada, restaurant crews and Chef at Resorts World Hotel,
Human Resource staffs and Office personnel at Accenture,
some become staffs of the Barangay Hall Office of Western
Bicutan and most of them became call center agents at
Alorica, Accenture and Teleperformance. (M. Camento)

TUPC & IIEE SCC ASSIST COMMUNITY DURING EXTREME COMMUNITY

QUARANTINE

When Pres. Rodrigo R. Duterte imposed the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) for Luzon on
March 16, 2020 usual activities of its population was
also restricted. With the total lockdown, daily wage
earners including informal workers are the most
affected ones. In such situation, the TUP Cavite and
the IIEE – SCC made coordination to help the families
of their former adopted community the Sityo Putohan.
The measure enforced by the government prevents
ambulant vendors to sell and earn for their daily living.
The efforts of Normi B. Santos and E. Frias produced
at least 3 kilos of rice and canned foods that was
distributed to at least 37 families. (N. Santos & E.
