HUMAN COMPUTER INTERACTION DISASTER

A Reflection Paper

As my perspective about HCI or Human Computer Interaction, It was a connection

between the user and the computer which is to have a goal to make the things easier. As I
noticed, everything is already in use by the technology, and being a humans today, our tasks
are makes easier because we all relying on the technology or the computer we use. There’s an
advantage and disadvantage of how users and computers are interconnected.
As a student, I was amazed of what I expect of this course because I learned a lot of how
humans can connect or interact with the computers by the means of technology. But somehow,
I was wondering if other people are right of interacting and using of it, because many people
are abusive to create or make something that can be harmful to humans, even the natures and
animals can have problems due to the use of technologies. It happens when the person are too
desire of making something unique, that all people around the world will benefit with it. But,
not everything you want to interact with, especially the computers, has a good effect of you.
Because remember that computers has an AI or Artificial Intelligence, that whatever you
command from it. The computers will actually do. It seems like, human nowadays, is scary.
Why? Because we do not know that maybe there’s a genius people who can make something
that will harm people, even can do something that will end the whole world by using and
interacting with it on the computer. As far as I know, Humans are flexible in terms of what
generation does exist. Also, they can easily learn of what computer does.
We must always remember that there is no permanent in the world, everything has a
limits. Interacting with computers is not bad, as long as we do not abuse it. We are in the 21 st
century, so what else should be expect? Maybe in the near future, all the things that can be
seen are interconnected to a humans. For me, HCI or Human Computer Interaction is able to
change the purpose of human beings, where we must be ready to face the reality that
someday, we will connect us to a computer by the means of technology.
