MISD Student Content Filter Login Instructions

1. Technology would recommend first opening Safari on your MacBook.

2. Once Safari is opened and a web URL entered, you may encounter a popup for Proxy Authentication
Required. If so, click ​System Preferences​.

3. In the Username field please enter your email address (​xxxxxxx@misd.gs​), including ​@misd.gs​. Enter your
password into the Password field. Once entered correctly, click ​OK​.

4. The computer should prompt for modifying your Keychain. Please enter your computer password and click
Always Allow​. You should now be able to navigate websites through the new content filter in Safari.

5. In Google Chrome, you will experience a similar login prompt. Enter your email address (​xxxxxxx@misd.gs​)
in the Username field and password into the Password field. Click Sign In when completed. You should now be
able to navigate websites through the new content filter in Chrome.
