 Ordinal Number Worksheets ( 2 per day)

PREPARATION AND LOGISTICAL CONSIDERATIONS
 Ensure worksheets and activities are ready to go for their intended days.
 Be prepared to challenge students that can easily classify ordinal numbers up to tenth.
 Ensure students have access to writing materials, number blocks, and number lines each day of
instruction.
 Ensure technology is running smoothly.
PROCEDURE
Introduction: Monday Time
 Ensure students have grasped the concepts of even and odd before moving onto
ordinal numbers.
 Introduce students to the differences between cardinal and ordinal numbers and

Assessment
 All of the provided worksheets present opportunities for formative assessment because it
will demonstrate to the instructor that the students are grasping the materials and can
move onto the next intended outcome in the math program of study.
 Additionally, the worksheets could be marked based on correct answers or participation
and hard work introducing a form of summative assessment.
