● In Exploring Drawing, I was able to express myself
through the art I was making. My professor would give
us an assignment and we could take it in whatever way
we wanted while using our own style.

● I demonstrated these skills during my Internship for
Fieldwork. I had to lead groups in expressive art
sessions. I would plan the directive and lead the group
into the whole process.

● I was able to use technology skills in this class, Senior
Integrative Seminar. This was the first online class that
I had signed up for and I was able to manage
technology in a way that benefited me. I also had to
adjust to online classes when we went online in Spring
2020.

● In Gender Issues in the Workplace, the project about
gender neutral restrooms in giant eagle allowed my
group and I to discuss possible solutions to the
exclusion of non binary or transgender individuals.

Express arguments or main points clearly, in written and oral X

● In Twentieth Century Art I, I was able to create a
research paper and oral presentation about a topic in
Nineteenth century art.

● Throughout my intership experience, I was able to use
what I have learned in my fieldwork class and apply it
to real life circumstances that I enconoutered at my
internship site.
II. Historical, Cultural, and Global Awareness

Communicate in a second language at the introductory X


proficiency level.
● In Spanish II, we did a skit in front of the class where
we had to communicate in full Spanish sentences, so I
was able to achieve a good skill set through projects
like this.

Analyze the impact of history, geography, and socio-cultural X


dynamics on global interactions from a variety of disciplinary
perspectives.
● In Western Cultures I we were able to dicuss the
relationships between different countries and the
growth of the westen world. I did a research paper
about Nero and the time of his ruing which shows my
analysis of history.

Analyze current and historical events through the lens of X


spirituality and faith.
● In Faith Regligion and Society, we were able to talk
about current situation while focus on different
religions around the world.

Assess privilege and oppression from the perspective of culture, X


race, class, and gender.
● In the class Race, Class and Gender, we discussed
topics of privelege and oppression within ourselves and
the people around us. We had a project where we
explored our different identities and discussed what
privileges and oppressions we carry with us.

III. Multiple Modes of Inquiry

Generate and analyze numerical and scientific data. X


● I generated and analyzed different numerical data
within my Contemporary Mathematics course,
specifically on our Final Project where we had to solve
problems using formulas and read graphs to determine
answers to questions. Being that I am a Art Therapy
major, I have not taken many math or science classes. I
have take psychology classes, but nothing like
chemistry, physics, etc.

comprehend the significance of an issue or an event.
● In the class History of Western Art I, we wrote essays
analyzing different paintings, mine being Raphaels
School of Athens. By analysing this work, I was able to
deepen my understanding and research of the piece.

Organize and manage resources in a creative way to achieve X


impact.
● In my Fieldwork class, I was able to organize and
manage many resources in my final capstone research
paper. I incorporated articles about addiction and art
therapy, as well as my own experiences in order to
make an impact on the reader.

Find, evaluate, and apply information. X


● In Human Biology and Medicine, I was able to use this
skill when researching a dietary supplement called
Fenugreek. I had to create a presentation of the
research I found.

Interpret quantitative and qualitative information to present a X


logical argument based on supporting data.
● In my 20th Century Art II class, I interpreted different
information and sources in my research paper on
Graffiti and street art. I argued that graffiti and street
art has the capabilities to change a community and my
sources reflected that.

IV. Self Reflection and Assessment

Demonstrate ethical decision-making grounded in X


philosophical inquiry.
● I was able to demonstrate ethical decision making at my
internship when working with individuals at my site. I
had to decide what I could share with my classmates
about my experience without breaking confidentiality
with the people I worked with. This went with sharing
their art as well.

Apply Catholic social teaching to the analysis of contemporary X


social issues.
● I was able to use this skill in Senior Seminar when
looking at ethical issues within Art Therapy. I used
Catholic Social Teaching as a new lens to view this
issue.

Recognize the value of diverse spiritual and religious X


perspectives.
● In Faith, Religion, and Society, I was able to compare
and contrast Islam and Christianity in a powerpoint
format. This allowed me to appreciate the diversity of
religion that is in the world. It gave me a more globally
aware perspective.

Integrate the practice of charity with the skill of justice. X


● I participated in the Labors of Love community service
day my freshman year at Seton Hill.

Exercise responsible freedom and civic engagement based on an X


informed value system.
● Social Action Project in Senior Integrative Seminar
○ I was able to involve myself in the lives of
senior citizens by doing a selfless act of
sending them letters and art that I made.
