Pedagogy Planning

In this interactive white board activity, the children will touch the board to play the
jeopardy game "We Go Banana's Over Fractions!" in order to learn about comparing
fractions with unlike denominators.

Activity

The learning activity would consist of this jeopardy game after a


lecture style with children feedback in a hall meeting type. This
would be a fun game to ensure that they have learn the material
and grasp the idea of this concept and SOL. The teachers would
sit back and just keep track of the score while students actually
get a chance to run the class.
1) Students would come up and click the monkey or banana and
a question would pop up
2) Then go back to their teams and talk over the answer and
write it down on a white board
3) When the teacher says flip the boards, only right answers
would get points for that one; however if students get it wrong
the teacher must go over the question to make sure students
understand what was done wrong
4) Students and the teacher would continue this process until
the game is complete.
