Appointment Letter
Dear Pantu,

We have great pleasure in offering you an appointment as Waiter Chandni Restaurant, Hong Kong, on the
following terms and conditions:

1. Your employment shall commence on January 30th, 2021. You shall be initially on a probation period
for 3 months after which your services shall be confirmed in writing upon satisfactory performance. In
case your performance is not up to the mark, your probation may be extended up to a maximum of three
months. During the probation period, there is no leave.

2. Your place of work is Chandni Restaurant Hong Kong and you will report to the Food & Beverage
Director .

3. The breakup of your compensation package is as follows:
• Basic : HKD. 9,538
• HRA : HKD. 6,676
• Conveyance Allowance : HKD. 2,863
• Gross Package : HKD. 19,077

4. Your services may be transferred to any place in Hong Kong or abroad and to any Company within
the Chandni Restaurant Group at the discretion of the Management without your consent.
The terms and conditions of the new Unit / Company will be applicable to you upon your transfer.

5. You would be required to travel as and when the business requires. In all such events, travel expenses
shall be paid as per the company rules and you will be required to present your expenditure in the
scheduled formats for reimbursement within the specified time period.

6. You shall be entitled to Earned and Casual leaves as per the rules of the Company. Prior permission is
necessary to avail this leave and should be sought in approved formats. The quantum of leave is as follows:
Earned Leave: 21 days (applicable after completion of 1 year of service)
Casual-cum-Sick Leave: 7 days (upon confirmation)

7. The company reserves the right to terminate this appointment during the probation period

after issuing a notice of one week in writing, for any reason whatsoever. Likewise,



you can also terminate this appointment using the same procedure.



8. Once confirmed, appointments are liable for termination after issuing notice of one month, in writing,
from either side. This notice cannot be given while on leave and the employee is required to serve out
the notice period, failing which salary will be deducted in lieu of notice. The employee cannot go on leave
during the notice period. In case the company decides to terminate services, one month’s notice will be
given in writing for the same or basic salary paid in lieu of notice.

9. During the course of your employment with Chandni Restaurant, you will be required to maintain strict
confidentiality on all matters of importance to the Company. In the event of any act of dishonesty,
disobedience, causing damage/ financial loss to the company, insubordination, incivility, intemperance,
irregularity in attendance, unauthorized absence, misconduct, conviction, neglect or upon loss of
confidence in the employee or incompetence in the discharge of your duties or upon any breach of the
above terms by you, including violation of the Company Zero Tolerance Policy, your services would be
terminated without giving any notice or salary in lieu of notice.

10. On the termination of your appointment for whatever reason, you will be required to immediately give
back to the Company all Company assets in your possession and all correspondence (including e-mails),
documents, data, literature, records, etc., in any form belonging to the Company or relating to its business
and shall not make or retain any copies of any such items.

11. This appointment is subject to you being medically fit and continuing to be medically fit. In case you
fail to clear the Pre-employment Medical Test your employment will automatically stand cancelled.

12. You will be governed, in addition to the conditions stated specifically above, by any other rules,
regulations, practices, systems, procedures and policies that are in force or may be added, altered,
modified or omitted/ deleted by the Company from time to time. You have also been informed about our
Company Zero Tolerance Policy, any violation of which will result in immediate termination of your
employment, including for the following reasons:

• Theft or pilferage
• Abusive language
• Reporting drunk to duty or drinking on duty
• Smoking at non-designated areas
• Uninformed absenteeism

We once again welcome you on-board at Chandni Restaurant and look forward to a very long and fruitful
association with you. Please sign a copy of this letter as a token of you acceptance.

PRE-JOINING FORMALITIES: Following documents are required for processing of employment visa:

Offer letter singed, copy passport photocopy, color passport size photographs, previous company pay slip
and work experience letters (if any). Educational document (includes academic / professional certificates).

Have to be submitted with completed degree / diploma verification for getting it from the labour Ministry in
Hong Kong. Labour Ministry may ask further attestation in home country. Please make note all
employees have to bare this cost, as it is a pre-requisite for applying employment work-permit cost up to
HKD 4,787/-, approx.This will be returned at the end of one month completing with us.
