DRIVE TEST

The loaded test vehicle has been run at the designed speed along the package.
The Independent engineer representative and the Authority engineer
representative observed that as per requirement all Safety sign boards
were provided with the intended valuable information along the route for
vehicle drivers and all other road users. The sign board represented all the
required information and rules that are to be followed for a safe trip & to
maintain safe vehicular passage through the package. The sign boards help to
communicate messages to drivers and pedestrians that can maintain order and
reduce accidents.
We have observed that road studs were provided and road marking were
marked to help communicate clear messages to road user.
We have also made note that hazard marker were provided for the required
location like hazard area, structure, and median.
We observed that chevron signs were provided at all necessary locations.
Speed limit signs for various locations along the package were provided for
varying speed limit along the route. Speeds of the vehicles should be within
the speed limit and slow especially in the areas of school, hospital, colony,
etc. For this we observed that for the respective locations speed limit boards
were provided. Marking for Pedestrian crossing were also provided at various
locations, junctions and intersections for convenience and safety of
pedestrian’s.
