are attached which are rotating.

1) DC power supply.

4) Abrasive grinding wheel.
5) Workpiece.

 Only 1DOF in rotation.

Machine no 02:

“HACKSAW”

 Flexible.
 Sliding pair and screw pair.
 Higher pair.
 Constrained motion with 1 DOF.
 Belt and pulley.
Frame.
Belt and pulley and power transmission.
Reciprocating.
Electrical into rotary and then in reciprocating due to Crank and slider
mechanism.

SUBSYSTEMS OF HACKSAW
1) Frame.
2) Speed machine mechanism.
3) Hacksaw blades.

 Coupler between crank and blade.

“LATHE”

 Flexible.
 Turning pair at the spindle.
 Higher pair.
 Self-closed pair.
 Constrained with 1DOF.
Frame or bed of the lathe.
Belt and pulley with gears mechanism also.
Rotary motion in the work piece due to the movement of chuck.
 Gears mechanism along with Belt ad pulley.
 Sliding pair and screw pair in the vise.

 Revolutory pairs in handle.

movement of the tool and its different speeds.
