DRAWING

“Creative Mouse Drawing”

1
“Starting with the name of ALLAH the most beneficent and the
most Merciful”

Here, is the short review of our Report:

o Motivation for the Work.

o Identification of problem.
o Identification about Criteria’s.
o Possible solutions.
o Generation of a specific idea.
o Possibilities for our Idea.
o Select an approach.
o Model making.
o Testing.
o Refining the design.
o Presenting the final product.

“A Complete Method is the most important part for manufacturing of

anything. Without perfect method nothing is possible to manufacture.
It was very hard and hectic job to think about this type of Mouse.
Many people around us have lack of knowledge they generally face many
problems and difficulties while using MOUSE. To reduce these difficulties,
we had tried our best to develop an idea on the Best ergonomics Mouse”

2
"Problems are not stop signs; they are guidelines."

Our first step while doing this project was Identify the Problem. Because, it gave us a proper
knowledge that why we are making this project? In previous mouse there were many issues like
we had to face problem when this type of mouse used by Right handed people and by the Right
handed people. People had to face the pain in the elbow and also in the hand after using the
common type of mouse.

Our second and the most important step was Identification about criteria’s.
Design constraints are conditions that need to happen for a project to be successful. Design
constraints help narrow choices when creating a project and constraints for our project and the
basic purpose of doing this was only to made a key information to help on solution of this
problem. Design constraints can feel like a negative thing sometimes, but they help shape the
project to fit the exact need of hour.

o Materials.
o Available technology.
o Skills.
o Materials.
o The budget.
o Time constraints.
o Cost analysis.
o Resources.

Our third step was to Brainstorm the possible solutions for our Problem. While doing our
project we were looking for a Special Mouse which works on ERGONOMICS as well as easily
useable by the Right and left Handed people. Then, many ideas pop up in our minds like Pen
type with three buttons and our second option was about that type of mouse which will be
completely horizontal our third option was completely vertical mouse.

After that we prefer such Type of Mouse which will look like a pen in reality because according
to our point of view this will be the best mouse working on Ergonomics because it is easy to made

by us and looks simple in reality whereas, other two ideas were complicated to do due to the
shortage of time.

After that we made the Isometric views of our concept and tried our best to label all the
dimensions and measurements of this mouse.

After that we used AUTOCAD to made our 3D modeling.

Then, we had Completely analyze that is it will be a Perfect project or Not? According to the
Given requirements of our Instructor we checked it again and again.

Then, we build a Physical model of our project and there was a long list of material selection for
this process but we cheap the Very low-cost material (WOOD). While, working in the workshop
we had completely follow the rules and regulations of workshop according to Safety.

After completing AUTOCAD model as well as the Physical model we had Refine our solution
and we did not find any difference so, its mean we had successfully completed our Job and one,
the last step was to present this model in front of our instructor as well as Students.

Here, is the complete review of our project:

 This model or style will create a Relaxed and natural working conditions for the Users.
 As it will be wireless and so it can be moved at any surface and as a result it will
contributes to the less pan.
 The cursor or the third button can be moves all over the computer screen effectively and
quickly.
 It will allow all the users to work not only in front but also beside the computer.
 Our main theme for selecting this project was to change the working position of mouse.
 In the theory at least, this approach has obvious ergonomic benefits. A pen-shaped grip
feels more natural to hold than most of the common mouse’s, and also allows us for a
greater degree of precision with less effort. Since the pen can move and change angles
relative to the work surface, a variety of hand positions become available.

4
 Interestingly, we found that we do not tend to grip this type of mouse in exactly the way
we hold our common mouse. We had to hold that type of mouse in exactly the way our
first-grade teacher made us hold on the fat yellow pencil. Instead of using with three
fingers resting on the desk and holding the business end of the mouse directly. My
forefinger stays on the pen barrel to handle the main click button, and our thumb rests
along the side.

Recommendations:

We know that anything cannot be perfect it has some limitations and we can add many
more
features in this type of Mouse after doing more efforts.

Conclusion:

After the great work and after the research and developments in our project we
concluded that our instructor will be satisfied because it is portable, Easy to handle and
time saving device.
