Check the
materials for 4 30
1 2 Microwave

Procedure
1. Check whether the model and number of onsite main
equipment, such as the cabinet, antennas, RRUs, BBU,
and DCDU, are consistent with that specified in the
engineering design file and material checklist (there is a
packing list attached to the equipment packaging), and
whether the appearance of packaging is intact.
2. If the inspection passes, unpack the packaging, and
check whether the number of materials is correct and
whether they are intact. In addition, request the logistics
service provider and implementation team to sign the DN.
3. Provide the NMC with the BBU ESN, which can be
obtained from the left mounting ear of the BBU.
4. Sort the materials and classify them as main equipment
and materials for the antenna system.

Notes
1. Do not unpack the packaging, and report the problem to
the project team in either of the following scenarios:
The model and number of onsite equipment are
Material placement inconsistent with the design file.
The packaging is seriously damaged or soaked.

Install outdoor PI 1 15

Procedure
1.There are 2 optional solutions to install the outdoor PI,
which depends on the actual situation.
2. For pole:Route the hose clamps through the PI
mounting holes, and circle the hose clamps around the
pole. Route the steel belts through the locking latch, and
partially tighten the screws.Use an M6 hexagon torque
screwdriver to tighten the screws.
3. For wall:drill hole on wall.then fix PI by srews

Notes
1. When tightening the hose clamps, use a lifting sling to
partially hoist the equipment to prevent the equipment from
falling off.
2. Use hose clamps that suit the pole.

(multimeter)
Procedure
1. Set the multimeter to the 20 V mode and secure it to a
proper position (easy to observe the result) on the tower to
monitor the level changes during antenna commissioning.
2. Remove the waterproof cap from the ODU RSSI port and
connect the BNC connector to the ODU RSSI port. Then,
connect the two pens of the multimeter to the cable with the
BNC connector and wrap the joint with PVC insulation tape.
3. After the antenna for the remote site is secured, loosen
the nuts for the bolts of the fixing clamp on the local
antenna mounting support. Then, roughly adjust the
antenna azimuth in the horizontal direction. When the
resistance displayed on the multimeter reaches the peak
value, tighten the nuts.
4. Loosen the upper and lower nuts on the fixed azimuth
axis and tighten the level fine-adjustment nut. Then, within
adjustment range of the nut, tighten and loosen the
adjustment nut of the fine adjustment screw for fine
adjustment in the horizontal direction. When detecting the
maximum voltage in the horizontal direction, tighten the nut.
5. Loosen the connecting nut between the antenna and
mounting support, and use a wrench to rotate the pitch
