METHODOLOGY/ Méthodologie Du Travail Universitaire
METHODOLOGY/ Méthodologie Du Travail Universitaire
Introduction
Methodology for freshmen students is a set of study skills and a subject or a module in which students learn to
manage their time at university and to be autonomous in learning. The learnt study skills will help students to
organise themselves and manage their time. It also introduces them to the different reading strategies and
learning techniques.
Many of the elements highlighted below are new to the students so it is very important to make them understand
that what he / she will learn in methodology is going to be useful for him/her in the rest of his License and
Master studies.
The learnt strategies like note taking and note making are very useful when doing extra readings either for the
literature, linguistics or in reading for leisure.
