Why I love Books

Reading isn't only about discovering the new but

it is a vehicle for reflection. I believe there's something
undeniably special about reading. I don't just love to
read books but I also love to talk about them.

Reading is no longer a popular choice among

children when asked about their favourite past
times.Therefore, the internet and smartphones have
roles in the losing interest for books though not the act
of reading itself.

Reading is important because it develop the

mind. Understanding the written words is one way the
mind grows in its ability. Teaching young children to
read helps them develop the skill of language. Its also
helps them learn to listen.

A child reading skill are important to their

success in school as they will access the breath of
curriculum and language skill. In addition, reading can
be fun and imaginative time for children which opens
all kind of new doors for them.

Nevertheless, I still prefer to read books

compared to reading from the internet. E-book may
save space or prevent clutter but they will not give the
same pleasure and satisfaction of reading a physical
book. Imagine curling up on bed with your favourite
novel after a tiring day. It sure beats reading off a
computer screen or even from your phone.

Its also feels good to see my book collection on

the shelf where I can touch and read them anywhere,
anytime. If the books are care for well, it will still be in
good condition even for the next thirty to forty years. I
still have my Enid Blyton series and a set of incyclope‐
dia that my parents bought for me. In addition, I also
keep some classic novels that have been reprinted.

It is easier to share printed books with family

members and friends. Sharing E-book may not be that
user friendly because not everyone have the special
application to enable them to share or download an
E-book. The elderly may prefer to read books the old
fashion way too!

I love reading travel books which enable me to

explore the country on my own. The descriptive words
enrich my vocabulary and help me to improve in my
essay writting. I may not gain the real experience of
visiting a certain country but I get some knowledge
on its geographical background, the people, food and
culture.

I believe that a person who can write has a spe‐

cial talent. Marketing can get the book to be sold but
a book that captures the heart of a reader depends on
its contents. Anyway, I support this authors and bud‐
ding writters by buying their books. Buying their book
certainly help the authors and writters to earn a living.

Reading give us pleasure to go by the flow of the

book that we read. There are some book that we might
have experience in our life. Book can tell us about his
or her stuggles and victories. That way, we can learn
on mistakes of others and save ourselves from solving
an actual problem.

Book can teleport us to a whole new world show

us the wonders of that world, the people and open
a whole new perception of book to me. So, I think
everyone should love to read books as I do.
