MEDICO LEGAL AUTOPSY REPORT

Nature of the Case : Stabbing Incident

Alleged Date, Time and Place of Infliction : October 16, 2020 at around 5pm in M.H.
del Pilar St., Tacloban City

Date and Time of Examination : October 16, 2020 at 10 pm

Preliminary Examination Findings :

GENERAL :

Fairly nourished, fairly developed male cadaver in rigor mortis with post-mortem
lividity on the dependent portions of the body. Lips and nailbeds are cyanotic.
Conjunctivae are pale

HEAD :

Contusion hematoma, right upper lid measuring 1 x 1 x 1.5 cm AML with

superimposed abraision

Abraision , right upper lip measuring 2 x 2 x5 cm AML

CHEST :
 Stab wound, anterior chest wall, right, at the level of the 4th rib, measuring 1.5 x 1 x
2 cms, directed inwards, penetrating the thoracic cavity hitting the heart and lower lobe
of the right lung

There are blood clots inside the thoaracic cavity

Remarks/Conclusions :

Cause of Death is Hypovolemic Shock from Massive Blood Loss secondary to Stab
wound of the chest hitting the heart and lower right lung
