    PhDL 505: Approaches in Language Curriculum Design

    The format and presentation of the curriculum is a crucial aspect of the

    success of the curriculum. However as a teacher, I believe that assessment and

    evaluation is the most important aspect. Assessment and evaluation allows the

    curriculum developers to look at the aspects of the course that needs development.

    In addition, the assessment and evaluation of the curriculum can be carried

    out by measuring the success of students. Through this, teachers may have a

    reference in making decision on what to keep, what to improve and what should not

    be included in the curriculum. Furthermore, assessment and evaluation will help

    attain the objectives of the curriculum.
