Question 1: What IT infrastructure is and what will be different challenges

you might face for managing IT infrastructure?

The business that I think in current situation of Covid-19 pandemic is best suited for myself is of
“online tutoring” because education is greatly affected by Covid-19, till now what I have studied
me and my staff can teach it to junior as well as to college students by building a site that deliver
quality education as their school and university teachers are delivering online lectures within
working hours and sometime due to connectivity issues students are unable to take proper lecture
my online instruct will help them learn effectively I will provide the flexibility of asking
questions at any time as the environment is uncertain so its is important to continue learning in a
best possible way by providing them all the resources

I T infrastructure provide the basis for effective working, serving customers and managing
businesses process effectively

The IT infrastructure that I need in my business of “online tutoring” is

 Laptop
 Budget, content
 learners
 Video conferencing tools such as zoom, Microsoft teams, Skype
 Internet connectivity
 Web developers are needed to create website and to support online classes
 Online tutoring platform
 My qualification

 Tutoring software that makes to teach subjects easy like math’s etc

Challenges include

Down server

Some time server is down due to number of reasons may be because of network equipment
overheat or cable got unplugged and that is a major challenge in online tutoring and can
overcome this challenge by having backup server in the form of cloud which is very essential in
order to cope up with challenge of down server

Rising cybersecurity challenge

Education system are vulnerable to security attacks as they have been more open so people steal
material from these sites and sometime also use to destroy someone’s reputation either by
hacking their account or by destroying assignment so it is one of major concern in IT
infrastructure that need to consider

This can be overcome by securing sites and by making policies that result in strick action if
anybody tries to do this

Poor group settlement

Although team is the biggest support but there can be question mark on their loyalty which
generates a lot if infrastructure threats and challenges that include loss of data it is important to
provide them continuous training about the loyalty and ethical concerns

Unstable internet connectivity

To run any online business smoothly it is important to have high speed internet working with
different options can overcome this challenge and in my business of online tutoring it is
important to respond to student queries as soon as possible so they can meet their deadlines

Due to technology student may feel isolated and get de-motivated easily

In a business like online tutoring it is important to acknowledge and get benefit from the original
work but it does not mean to misrepresent that work by own name and it is an ethical
responsibility to represent and acknowledge with the actual author/owner name

While taking help from others work it is important in my business of online tutoring to tell that
this work is done by that person

Accountability and control

It is another ethical concern that everybody is accountable and responsible for their performance
so they work with honesty and integrity instead of just for the sake of formality

Online tutoring will examine all the aspect of accountability to ensure quality education

System quality

System quality can be ensured by protecting individual rights and safety concerns as well as the
safety of society

In my business of online tutoring it is important that quality is maintained by considering and

protecting the rights of everyone and system is well maintained in order to avoid any ambiguity

Without the consent of others it is unethical to check or share their private information and this is

etc so in my business of online tutoring I will account for all these ethical issues to maintain
discipline of online classes

Not only offline but it is a responsibility of teacher to teach values to student as well as to
discriminate between right and wrong in order to avoid issues

Online tutoring is a great way to teach students and contributing in their growth by providing
them guidance, knowledge and real time information

During this situation of pandemic it is a great way to provide tutoring to manage their workloads

There is no harm to others but in my business of online tutoring special steps are being taken to
ensure privacy so no one can harm other by assessing their data

It is another social concern to protect information and well as to share important and useful

Information system strategy plays crucial role in any business as it collect, store and distribute
information similarly in my business so for that purpose I use different strategies such as

Knowledge management system

It is a type of IT system that store information for better understanding such as in the form of
feedback databases and this will also improve efficiency by reducing the time to find knowledge
as well as improve decision making in online tutoring

To engage with online students

By actively listening them and giving them the freedom of speech it is a great way to engage
students in by using different strategies in my business of online tutoring will offer different
engagement tactics such as online presentation as well as question answer session by asking
certain questions in the form of formative and summative feedback from students

IT department

That is responsible for managing the hardware, software and computer networks as well as
oversees the security and privacy concerns of online tutoring

We will use different tools such as slides, synchronous, asynchronous mode of teaching,

hacking on student can get access to other student data and can harm him as well as can harm
that online platform such as online tutoring by

Identity theft

This is another security concern that my business of online tutoring is facing as students are at
more risk of identity theft access to their names, ids as well as to their email and number is very
easy so our business consider their concerns and addresses them by taking effective steps such as
by two way authentication of password as well as with security alert feature on their accounts

Phishing

This is another privacy concern related to online tutoring such as by stealing some ones personal
information and then making fake account that resemble to original one in order to ruin
someone’s reputation

Students commonly do this by taking data from someone Gmail account and to use this in an
unethical way to harm other student

In online tutoring it is another major concern that the virus appears that do other than expected
basically mislead the user and students use this to attack personal computers and mobile phones

There can be other concerns in online tutoring such as someone can direct capture our class
video and upload it on another platform

This is a risk of losing all information of my business of online tutoring by error, virus or though
any malware

In our business we will encrypt communication in order to stay protect from unauthorized
access, theft, accidental loss and the best way to keep system protected through strong password
as well as by having backup on cloud computing
