Should I be grateful for the way I look? I mean I am unable to walk and I am always asking for help not
only do I look like a kid I feel like a kid. People always tell me “well you should be grateful because you
can talk”, ”you should be grateful because you can see” .However they don’t know how does it fell like
;they don’t know how it feels when someone one calls you disabled or when they whisper around
commenting on the way you look. The only place where I feel safe is at the park where it’s filled with
kids were I am not hurt by their comments because they are kids.

Today what I say at the park has touched my heart when that kid when up to the people who made
hurtful comments about me and when he said “stop, you should be ashamed because she was born like
that, it’s called dwarfisms” I was speechless and before I said thank you he said “you don’t have to thank
me” I just wish if there were more people like that sweet kid, that little angle .Maybe there are good
people after all but not always.
