We hereby confirm that the ACS880-01 American Bureau of Shipping

(ABS) Marine Type Approval Certificate 14-LD1294288-PDA is under
renewal process in ABS office.
ABS has required a technical revalidation for the product and requested
ABB Drives to provide test reports according to the updated test
standards.
Per ABS Rules for Conditions of Classification part 1-1-A3/5.1.4 the
ACS880-01 has now entered PDA-limited status. This means that the
term of validity will be one year from the date of expiration of the PDA
(Product Design Assessment = Type Approval Certificate).
This means that the Certificate 14-LD1294288-PDA is valid to use until
22 Dec 2020.
ABB Drives is currently preparing the updated test reports for ABS
review.
