The Auditorium of Riphah University is old and unable to meet the modern requirements.

Project Objectives
• Renovation of existing auditorium in to a modern multipurpose facility for
Curricular and Extra Co- Curricular activities with a capacity of
accommodating 200 students.
• Meet the modern requirements of teaching aids and of latest auditorium
technologies like soundproofing, movie theatre, lecture halls, stage drama
presentations and convocation / seminars venue.
• Should be able to meet the HEC requirements of all levels of university
activities including hosting of seminars of national and international levels.
• Provide a suitable place for students to carry out academic learning and also
carry out co-curricular activities.
• Complete renovation and remodeling including refurbishing of existing seats.
• Provide a temperature controlled environment for both summers and
winters.
• Renovation to be completed before start of next semester.
Project Scope / Deliverables
• Marble flooring on complete floor.
• Steps for easy viewing of stage in layers (ie Back high and front low).
• Re-cementing on walls and wooden paneling.
• Construction of wooden floor stage with pulley system for curtains. Dimensions of stage to be 50
x 20 ft with stairs on both sides and in front to climb on stage.
• Modern surround audio system connected with video and audio system.
• Video projection room for movie shows.
• Installation of reversible ACs for climate controlled environment as per the capacity.
• Repair of false ceiling with lighting arrangements in every row with independent switching system
at the rear.
• Sound proofing of walls.
• Changing room (dimensions 10x15 ft) on both side of stage with viewing room on other side with
entrance on stage. 5 ft passage in between the rooms on the stage.
• Electronic video projection screens. SCOPE
• Computer op room in the rear. To carry out Renovation, Rehabilitation and Remodeling of Riphah
University Auditorium located in Rawalpindi Sadar on Peshawar
• 200 Students cushioned seats.
Road into a high-quality, multipurpose, modern and elegant auditorium
• All caballing to be conduced. within 12 weeks at cost not to exceed 10.5 M.

 Perform or verify work relating to the delivery of deliverables in accordance with the management
plan and quality management plan (QMP).
 Share the responsibility for the quality of services
 Responsible for technical correctness of work and deliverables.
 Identify and timely intimate any problems relating work on project.
 Stop further processing, delivery, or installation of non-conforming products or services until the

Quality Manager  Ensure contractors has obtained all applicable permits
 Ensure work is being done according to prevalent regulations and as per the approved designs and
specifications.
 Point out violations.
 Visit site during each phase of work to ensure quality implementation.
 At the completion of each MS, carry out thorough checking and give certificate of clearance.
 Inspect quality of material and work for all subsidiary plans.
 Ensure alterations are performed correctly.
 Issue final QM clearance
Architect  Lead and develop projects from early concept through design development.
 Prepare drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
 Design and document project blueprints.
 Consult with clients to determine their requirements.
 Organize and manage permit documents and approvals from the concerned authorities.
 Work closely with operations manager during execution
 Provide and estimated budget for the project basing on estimation and experience in the field.
 Make three D presentation for approval of Director Project.
 Keep close liaison with structural engineer for designing

Finance and  Manage the accounting, contracts, finance and administration components of the project, including
Administration the various petty cash funds and field office finance, accounting and administrative activities;
Manager  Develop procedures for monitoring and analyzing project budgets, which allow accurate projection of
expenditures and comparisons of actual and budgeted spending.
 Coordinate fortnightly requests for funds, based on budget and cash flow projections, to ensure the
project has all necessary funds for operations.
 Coordinate and oversee project tendering, contracting and procurement activities in the project
 Ensure financial reporting in accordance with project manager timelines.
 Oversee payroll procedures for staff, administer payroll, and monitor employee time keeping
 Develop and implement office administrative and personnel systems;
 Maintain financial controls and procedures for the management of funds and sub awards/contracts.
 Liaise with the Project Manager to ensure the project needs are being met in terms of accounting,
contracts, Security procurements etc..
 Maintain financial files and support annual audits.
 Ensure safe custody of material.
 Supervise provision of material and ensure its record keeping.
 Ensure timely availability of material as demanded from time to time
