INTERNET USE IN ADOLESCENTS (NARRATIVO)

Today the Internet has become an indispensable tool in people's lives. It would be difficult,
especially for the youngest, to conceive a world in which “we are not connected”. Ingo
Lackerbauer, in his book "Internet", points out that the importance of the Internet in the
future exceeds everything that has happened so far, it is becoming the "global
communication medium". It is not necessary to explain in detail the benefits of this
wonderful technological invention. It allows us to educate ourselves, know, enjoy. In other
words, it is a versatile tool. It is precisely this use that can turn negative. We are talking
about Internet addiction. Many young people spend much of their day browsing pages,
posting on social media, or watching videos on YouTube. Using the Internet for
entertainment is not a bad thing in itself. The bad thing is abusing. The world of the web is
full of very useful knowledge, the ideal would also be used in that facet, and that is not only
as a form of leisure. What are the damages that Internet addiction can cause? Because the
adolescent spends considerable time in front of the computer, one of the greatest
consequences is the loss of an active social life. You can lose touch with your closest
friends and spend more time with "virtual" friends. Therefore, limits must be established,
according to this text, we must separate leisure time and study time. We must be careful
with this technological tool.

THE CITY OF LOJA (DESCRIPTIVO)

Loja, also known as Inmaculada Concepción de Loja is the main city in the extreme south
of Ecuador, on a small plain at the northwest foot of the Zamora Cordillera de los Andes,
near the confluence of the Zamora and Malacatos rivers. Founded in the mid-sixteenth
century by the Spanish captain Alonso de Mercadillo, the city was destroyed by an
earthquake a century later and later rebuilt. A small hydroelectric project began operating in
this city in 1897, making Loja the first town in Ecuador to have electricity. It is called the
"Musical and Cultural Capital of Ecuador" for its architecture, its cultural diversity, its
contribution to the Ecuadorian arts, sciences, music and letters, and for being the birthplace
of many illustrious people of E cuadorian society. It is one of the most important
administrative, economic, financial and commercial centers of Ecuador. The main activities
of the city are mainly commerce, agriculture, livestock and education. Knowing this
magical city would be a sensational experience, we would promote our culture.
