A. What are the types of Musical Notation?

- The types of Musical Notation are;
 Standard notation
 Lead sheets
 Guitar tablature
 Bar- based MIDI notation; and
 Graphic Notation.
B. What are the types of Musical Notes?
- The types of musical notes are;
 Semibreve (whole note)
 Minim (half note)
 Crotchet (quarter note)
 Quaver (eight note)
 Demise-quaver (16th note).
C. How many beats are in a note? (in a 4/4 time)
- In a 4/4 time a whole note gets four beats; a half note gets two beats and a quarter note
gets one beat.
