NARRATIVE REPORT

I. Proceedings

The meeting started at exactly 8:30 in the morning, guided by the emcee
Ms. Judith A. Borjal, an opening prayer was led by Ms. Babylyn L. Capin and
followed by an energizer given by Mr. Nilo T. Dollesin

II. Training Wrap-up and Review

Before starting the formal discussion regarding the 3 rd topic of the week
Ms. Pamela P. Bagaporo gave us a recap about the 1 st day of the In-service
Training. She mentioned few lessons on the content of the previous topics
discussed about the content knowledge and pedagogy across curriculum and
bridging gaps in reading and numeracy.

III. Discussion and Workshop

The Introduction of the guest speaker was made by Ms. Vivian Z. Propogo.
Ms. Rhodora C. Mercado, a TLE teacher from Eduardo V. Agomaa National High
School started her talk on “School Assets and Liabilities. She first mentioned few
terms such us short term assets and long term assets, defined each and gave
some examples. She continued her discussion citing the proper flow of
acquisition, utilization, and disposition on the procurement of school properties
and so on. She showed us copies and example of forms that are required to be
filled and taught us on how it should be filled up. She ended her discussion with
a quote “Integrity is doing the right thing, even when no one is watching.” – C.S.
Lewis. Workshop was conducted by filling up forms given to each participants in
regards with the topic.

The 2nd session started at exactly 1 o’clock in the afternoon. Ms. Finly S.
Begino was the one to introduce our guest speaker Ms. Aileen Celestial, a
representative from Libmanan LGU on Solid Waste Management. The speaker
started her discussion by telling the background of the Solid Waste Management
Act. It is known as “Ecological Solid Waste Management Act of 2000” or simply
REPUBLIC ACT 9003, It was proposed in the year 2000, signed in January 6 in the
year 2001 but implemented in the year 2002 until present. It was said that 70%
of solid wastes comes from domestic, 20% of it comes from industrial and the
remaining is on commercial. She mentioned the 6R’s that should be practiced in
conducting proper waste disposal management which are Reduce, Recycle,
Reuse, Restore, Refuse and Respect. She mentioned that the municipality of
Libmanan only collects residual waste, this includes sanitary napkins, diapers,
cottons, etc. The speaker also introduce their projects that are currently
implemented in the town of Libmanan and cite ways to lessen waste by bringing
washable utensils and straws when visiting restaurants. At the end of her
discussion she emphasized that everyone should adopt proper waste
management to ensure safety and care for our environment and ended it with a
quote “Let the new generation experience a cleaner and greener environment.”

IV. Action Reflection on Challenging Process

Our district’s PSDS, Evelyn P. Anagao Ph. D. visited the school to monitor
the ongoing in-service training for teachers 2020. She gave a warm message to
boost the attitude of the participants and to perform effectively with the
profession. She mentioned ways to help carry on with work despite of the
pandemic. Also, she reminded teachers that in-service training are conducted to
make teachers gain more knowledge but emphasized that knowledge should be
only 30% and the remaining 70% is to be focused on one’s attitude. She ended
her message by congratulating and thanking each and every one in participating
well with the training.
