of making personal care products. And to make our business the best producer and
provider of the finest personal care products.

We are a corporation that wishes to provide a product that is comfortable to use


and will guarantee the clients of its high-quality and its safeness in terms of skin care.

Also, to promote and share the effort of those people who work hard to give the
customer pristine hand-made products.

Executive Summary

The “Kuscos Body Scrub” is a business organization from the Beauty, Health and
Lifestyle Industry that aims to give our target customers not just a good looking skin but
also, giving them relaxation while using our product. Our business name is derived from
the phrase “Pa Fresh Lang” that is usually used by some people telling others that they
are still fresh or youthful. Since, keeping our skin healthy has been a trend for all those
years, especially for women, we need something that won’t only exfoliate and make our
skin brighter and healthier, we need something that can get us out from stress and
everything. Something that can give us a peace of mind as well as looking good. We
agreed to came up to a business that some of us had a background before for it is much
easier. Body scrub was first originated in ancient Egyptians. Both men and women used
scrubs with perfumed oils to keep their skin supple and free of wrinkles from the dry
desert heat.

“Kuscos Body Scrub” is a business that will be able to showcase hand-made


personal care products and to prove that Filipino products can also be equal to other
brands that is advertised here in our country.

This type of business started when we had a brainstorming. Since, this business is more
realistic, we chose to do it. Plus, some of us already know how to create the product
because of the past experiences, and for a fact that most of us, Filipinos declined our own
made products. We want to nurture and enhance our talents in doing this products.

It is a business organization that will give hand-made products that can be used by
children, teenagers, adults, parents and senior citizens. Personal care products that will
make bath time fun, pleasant and relaxing. Our products are not only good for cleaning
the body, but also give nutrients because of its natural ingredients

It is a manufacturing type of business since our raw materials are provided by our local
but authentic sources of quality material that will surely be able to create a great product
that will be suitable for the tastes of all Filipinos.

It also has a Corporation form of business since it was founded by a group of friends who
thought of the same thing. That Filipino products and materials should be used to
showcase that it can be high quality. Being a corporate type of business means that it is as
close to shared ownership among those friends. It can be that each of them are in charge
in different strands of the business-like marketing, advertising, manufacturing and
accounting.

Kuscos Body Scrub’s main product is a herbal scrub. Body scrubs are used to
exfoliate body dirt and it is also used for relaxation. Having body scrub can also help to
improve your body’s blood circulation. The usage of body scrubs had started way back
ancient Egypt by the influence of Cleopatra. The ingredients used on the ancient body
scrub are almond oils, Dead Sea salt and apple cider vinegar. In our generation, body
scrubs have been innovated. Many ingredients are already been used as

scrubs can be used to make our bath time pleasant and more relaxing. It can make our
body not only smooth, but also relaxed. Our product includes aroma fragrance that can
relieve stress. Our company also assures that our product is safe because we are going to
use natural ingredients such as essential oils and herbal plants that can also help to boost
our immune system.

Our product will be first sell in our school since our first target market are the
students. We will also join some bazaars so that many people will also be informed about
our new product and purchase it. We will also open a social media account since all know
that most people are already using social media. Once we gain some profit, we will
already start to build our own shop. We will promote by the means of our friends. We
will also give free samples to our target customers. Also during bazaars, we are going to
play a jingle so that people will get interested o our product.

Our product will be placed on a plastic jar with a label. The plastic jar will have a
pastel color which is a trend nowadays. Our scrub will also have a pastel color. And for
convenience, we will also consider attaching a spoon inside a lid for easy access of
getting the scrub inside the jar.

As a CEO of a starting company, a CEO sets the strategy of the Company, Modeling and
setting the company’s culture, values, and behavior, Building and leading the senior
executive team, Allocating capital to the company’s priorities.

CEO is responsible for the success or failure of the company. Operations, marketing,
strategy, financing, creation of company culture, human resources, hiring, firing, compliance
with safety regulations, sales, PR, etc.—it all falls on the CEO’s shoulders. The CEO’s duties
are what she does, the responsibilities she doesn’t delegate. Some things can’t be delegated.
Creating culture, modeling values, building the senior management team, financing road
shows, ultimate approval of how money gets spent, and, indeed, the delegation itself can be
done only by the CEO. The CEO decides, sets budgets, forms partnerships, sells off
incompatible product lines, makes acquisitions, and hires a team to steer the company
accordingly. A CEO can tank a company by not understanding their duties, or failing to set
up good measurement systems. But it’s also true that the job itself can screw up the person,

work in collaboration with our CEO on five- and ten-year plans for corporate growth and
evolution and how we can achieve our company’s vision.

They can also aid with financial projections and analyses of existing programs and policies.
They can manage service employees and train them in the latest leadership and technical
skills so they can better serve our clients.

They can also help in budgeting and resource allocation efforts alongside the other C-level
executives and the senior management team. And it is their task to ensure all program
initiatives align with the company’s core values and culture.
And they should also provide leadership to those under your command so that they might
take more initiative in their roles.

FINANCIAL MANAGER

The financial manager is responsible for the Data analysis of the company’s financial
statements provided by the accounting team. The Financial manager is also responsible for
Planning & strategizing the company’s expenses and how to manage its accounts and money
for future use.

They are also tasked in Advising senior managers for their reference and their guide on how
to budget the company’s money in accordance to the data provided by the accounting
department.

As a tag team with the accounting department the manager also has a task to oversee the flow
of cash. They are also directly associated with Planning & directing the activities of workers
especially if it involves around spending money, like team buildings.

They should also be Preparing reports as required by law and should Ensure compliance with
applicable laws to prevent damage on the company’s licenses.

ACCOUNTING MANAGER

The accounting manager Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling
and analyzing account information over a period of business operation. They are the ones
responsible for the documents of the financial transactions by entering account information.
They have the power to recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
They should be able to summarizes current financial status by collecting information;
preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports. And they should always
maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.

As a manager they are the guides for the accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities
and answering questions. They also work in coordination with the financial department as
they reconcile the financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.

And they should always secure financial information by completing data base backups.

HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER

The human resources manager is leading an organizational human resource programs and
policies, applied to employee relations. They Improve the morale and they also work hard
into creating a workplace environment that is of benefit to both employees and employers

the lifestyle of the consumers. We will showcase the talent of us, Filipino’s in making
hand made products that will give an advantage to your health, lifestyle and beauty as a
person. We will also ensure our customers that the money they used to buy our product

started in 1999 in Thailand and became popular all over the world. The main
ingredient of their product is milk. Their main goal was to bring beauty with the
use of milk. A Bonne’ had already received various awards not only in Thailand
but also in the other country. A Bonne’ had won the Superbrand Awards here in
the Philippines for 3 consecutive years. A Bonne’s known products are A

Indonesia. It is from Java which is known for their ritual named Lulur. Lulur is a
beauty ritual intended for a bride-to-be to beautify, smoothen, and whiten their
skin on her wedding day. It has different variants such as mulberry leaf and
seaweed extract. Asian Secrets also sells facial scrub, and whitening soaps.

The company will manufacture their own product using the raw materials
bought on different contributor or distributor. In making our product, we always
use natural ingredients to ensure the effectiveness and quality of our product. And
in making our product, we have multiple steps to follow to create without
mistakes and to avoid wasting the raw materials. And these step-by-step
instructions are:

1. Prepare the raw materials that are needed which are the granulated sugar, the
virgin coconut oil and essential oils. The workplace should be clean and dry to
avoid messing up with raw materials.
2. Measure the raw materials in their respected measurement.
3. Put the granulated sugar and the virgin coconut oil and bowl and start mixing it
well. Mix it with a light hand and stirring in one direction.
4. After mixing the sugar and oil, put a 3-4 drops of essential oils. Mix it very lightly
and the sugar should not melt with oil.
5. After the mixing the ingredients, put it in a glass jar with the right amount. The
glass jar should be clean and dry before putting the product.
