20 minutes Ema has 37 oranges in the basket. Her mother gave her another 25 mangoes in a basket.
How many fruits are there in all?
Show sets of pictures of oranges and mangoes. Let them count each set of fruits.
Can we add these numbers? How?

2. To remember the process quickly, let us use the place value chart:
