    PLATE NO.

    TITLE: Alphabet of Lines

    SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:

    This PLATE aims for the students to:

    1. identify the different types of lines.


    2. apply the principle of line conventions.
    3. appreciate the usage of the different types of lines as vital tool for a comprehensive
    drawing.

    MATERIALS:

    1 – pencil
    1 – drawing sheet
    1 – ruler

    PROCEDURE:

    1. Perform plate 1 by drawing the alphabet of lines shown in the next page.
    2. Use the template uploaded in the classroom. Use size Long paper.
    3. The thickness of each line are as follows:

    4. The pencil grade can be determined as in the figure below. If ever pencil of such kind
    is not available use an ordinary pencil instead.
    5. Do not ink the drawing.
    6. Avoid dirt, blots, and too much erasures in your drawing. Any drawing which does
    not follow the instructions will be repeated and the rating shall be deducted
    accordingly.
