With reference to the above-mentioned subject and your transmittal reference no.
HO20190041/SATELITE/DTS/226/19 dated 10/12/2019, please find attached herewith our
comments.

Accordingly, Contractor is advised to submit the revised drawing within one week from the
date of this letter without any further delay.

Please be noted that any consequences arising out of that delay will be fully attributed to
M/s. EEE.

approval for below document associated with respective substation(s) under
your above contract and give our comments/approval on the submitted
drawings/documents as under :-

Comments:

GENERAL:

1) As per Checklist Point 3.1.2, Min. size of Riser for LV equipment and other auxiliary
equipment shall be 185sq.mm. However, at many places in drawing, Riser size of 95 Sq.mm
is used for aforementioned equipment. Please modify as per Checklist requirement.

2) Size of Earthing Grid at Roof is proposed as 31x6mm Bare Cu. Tape which is not
acceptable. Please modify it as 50x6mm Bare Cu. Tape and update in drawing.

3) Arrangement of Cable Ladders shown in Cable Riser Rooms shall be harmonized in all
sheets.

4) In Note # 3 & Note # 9, Please add Capacitor Bank Basement, Fire Pump Room, Security
Room.

5) In Note # 14, Please add mounting height of earthing disconnecting links in

IDT/ET/Capacitor.

6) In Note # 15, Mounting height of link mentioned shall be as per respective relevant approved
drawings. Please ensure.

7) Note # 16 mentioning earthing of 63A sockets via 16sq.mm conductor which is not matching
with riser sizes indicated in drawing. Please clarify.

8) In Note # 21, mention complete drawing number.

9) 31x6mm Bare Cu. Tape is not acceptable as per comment # 2 above and shall be removed.

10) Resubmit the drawing with Revision 0.

1) In Cable Riser – 2 Room, Riser nos. shall be indicated in drawing.

2) Riser nos. for 132kV GIS Roof Earthing shall be indicated in drawing.

3) In Cable Riser – 1 Room, Riser nos. shall be indicated in drawing.

4) Quantity of Risers for LVAC Room (Cable Riser – 1) from Buried Grid are not matching
with approved drawing ID – 152. Please check & correct.

5) Number of Risers indicated in Riser Table are not matching Riser Tags. Please check.

6) Riser Tag No. and Quantity of Risers for 132kV GIS Steel Support Earthing shall be
checked and properly indicated in drawing.

7) Risers for 132kV Cable Steel Support Structure shall be indicated in drawing.

8) Riser GB10.12 is not indicated in drawing, however, mentioned in Legend. Please check.

9) Description for Risers SB3.01 to SB3.06 shall be updated as it includes Risers for LSP DBs
in 11kV Switchgear Room in addition to Patch Panels. Please check.

10) In Capacitor Basement Floor Riser details, description for Risers CB 2.01 to CB 2.03 shall
be corrected as Cable Ladder Earthing. Also, Riser Tag shall be updated as CB 2.03 instead
of CB 1.03.

SHEET # 2
11) Earth Bar No. in 132kV GIS Ground Floor shall be corrected as EB-19 instead of EB-13.
Also, Riser No. in Table shall be corrected as EB 19.02.

12) Applicable comments from Sheet # 1 shall be checked & complied.

13) Riser Tag for CAT Ladder in Cable Riser 1 Room is wrongly indicated as GB 14.01. It shall
be corrected GB 13.02. Please correct.

14) Riser Tag for EOT Crane girder is wrongly indicated as GB 14.02 at both locations. Please
check & correct.

15) In Table for earthing riser details from GIS & Switchgear Basement, Risers which are not
coming to Ground Floor from Basement (Such as Basement Doors, Staircase Handrail) shall
be removed from Table to avoid confusion.

16) In 11kV Switchgear Room, Riser Tag No. is missing for Door at Grid B – 10. Please
provide.

17) Auxiliary Earth Mat to be provided around complete LVAC Room, Charger Room, Telecom
Room.

18) Riser Size for Power Panels in LVAC Room (LVAC DB, HLDB, HVAC DB) shall be min.
300 sq.mm.

19) Riser No. from EB-18 shall be indicated in drawing. Also, EB-18 to be included in Riser
detail table.

20) Riser No. from EB-16 and EB-17 are wrongly indicated in drawing. Please check & correct.

21) Please Indicate Earth Bars / associated Risers from Cable Riser – 1 Room in Layout as well
as in Table.

22) Applicable comments from previous sheets shall be complied.

23) Description for Risers LR1.08 to LR1.15 shall be updated as DBs and Panel Support
Earthing. Check.

24) Description for Risers TR1.03 to TR1.09 shall be modified to include LSP DBs Earthing.

25) In Telecom Room, Riser Tag No. for Cable Ladder Earthing shall be corrected as TR1.15
instead of TR1.13. Please check & correct.

26) In Charger Room, Risers CH1.05, CH1.13 not indicated in layout, however, indicated in
table. Please check.

27) Battery Racks shall be earthed at two different locations instead of one. Please revise layout
& table accordingly.

28) Nitrogen Room Cylinder Supports shall be earthed at two different locations instead of one.
Please layout & table accordingly.

29) In Control & Relay Room, LSP DBs shall be included in description of Risers for RR1.13 to
RR1.27.

30) In Control & Relay Room, raised floor support earthing shall be included in description of
Risers RR1.28 to RR1.32.

31) In Control & Relay Room, RR1.32 for Cable Ladder Earthing shall be corrected as RR1.33
in Layout as well as in Table and Riser Tag No. for subsequent Risers to be adjusted
accordingly.

SHEET # 4
32) Roof Aux. Earth Mat shall be of 50x6mm Bare Cu Tape instead of proposed 31x6mm Bare
Cu Tape.

33) Location of Risers from EB-18 from Cable Riser-2 not matching with previous sheets.
Please clarify.

34) Applicable from previous sheets shall be checked & complied.

35) RF1.17 to RF1.18 indicated as Cable Ladder Earthing in Table, however, shown for Cage
ladder earthing in Layout. Also, RF1.19, RF1.18 is duplicated in layout. Please check &
correct.

36) In Fire Pump Room, Riser Tag No. FR1.09 is repeated. Please check & correct in layout &
table accordingly.

37) Applicable comments from previous sheets shall be complied.

38) Please checked & correct description for Risers FR1.01 to FR1.05 in Table.

39) Text Overlapping in Riser Details Table to be checked & corrected wherever it is applicable.

40) In ET Room – 2 Riser Details, Riser Tag ET2.02 is repeated many times. Please check &
correct.

41) In ET Room – 3 Layout, ET2.10 shall be corrected as ET3.10. Please check.

42) In IDT & ET Rooms, Riser for Oil Filtration Sockets shall be explicitly identified and same
shall be earthed through 185 sq.mm Y/G cable instead of proposed 95 sq.mm. Please check
& modify.

43) In IDT Room – 3 Riser Details, Riser Tag No. for Link Box Earthing is missing. Also, for
Main Tank Earthing, IDT1.03 shall be corrected as IDT 3.02, and “MAK” shall be
mentioned as “MK”. Correct.

44) In IDT Room – 2, In Riser Details Table, “IDT – 1” shall be replaced as “IDT – 2”.

45) In IDT Room – 2 Riser Details, for Main Tank Earthing, IDT2.03 shall be corrected as IDT
2.02, and “MAK” shall be mentioned as “MK”. Correct.

46) In IDT Room – 1 Riser Details, for Main Tank Earthing, IDT1.03 shall be corrected as IDT
1.02, and “MAK” shall be mentioned as “MK”. Correct.

47) Section to be updated as per corresponding comments on Plan. Also, Section marking
overlapped with drawing border. Please correct.

The comments and/or approval in no way relieves the Contractor from his obligations in the Contract to ensure

satisfactory commissioning and operation of equipment/works on contract. Any deviations from the
Specification found subsequent to approval are to be corrected by the Contractor to the satisfaction of DEWA.
Marked up drawing(s) as indicated in the approved codes to be collected from the office of the undersigned.
