INTRODUCTION
Chicken is one of the most well-known meal in the world and became one of the
favourite meal of Cotabatenos as it is Halal and very convenient to eat. Most of the food related
businesses in Cotabato City have chicken as a main ingredient. According to population.city.com
the Cotabato city has a population of 299, 438. Nowadays, people in our generation, especially
the millennial and the generation Z frequently goes to food related business industry. People this
days love to bond with friends, spend time with their family, do school works and have a quality
time with their love ones and some spends time to dine out to relieve themselves from stress
from school, work and even from their personal issues even just for a small amount of time. The
chicken has been one of the most favorite meal of every Filipino Citizens. Additionally, chicken
can be transformed in any kind of dishes, may it be a side dish, main dish and even dessert.
Crispy - that is the usual concept of Filipino people to the concept of cooking the chicken. Chick-
eat out thinks differently, the business came up with the idea of serving the different variety of
chicken.
Since, chicken is very common in every Filipino taste our business decides to create
different varieties of chicken meals to be established in Cotabato City. “Chick-eat out” was
inspired by the word “check-it out” as the entrepreneurs encourage the consumers to check out
what’s new in the city. Since, our business deals with chickens the entrepreneurs decided to
make it as “chick” instead of check so that the consumers will have a hint that the business offers
a chicken meals. Chick-eat out has three varieties of chicken meals, the first meal that the
business offers is “Chicken el corchete” which is popularly known as Chicken Poppers, it is a
chicken breast that sliced into a small cubes and coated with the specialized breading. Chicken el
corchete is different from other well-knowned chicken poppers in the city because our business
offers this in different flavors such as sweet and spicy and also honey garlic. The second product
that the business offers is “Chick ‘n cheese balls” the chicken and cheese balls is specialized
partnered with a creative and innovative drink. This meal offers cheesy and additional good taste
of chopped chicken. It is a twisted chicken balls with surprising sweet inside. The last product
that the business offer is “Wrap and roll” it looks like a Lumpiang Shanghai but the difference in
the product that the business offer is, it has a specialized fried rice with vegetables, specifically,
the cabbage and carrots, and the main ingredient is the chicken.
Chick-eat out restaurant envisions that 5-to-10 years from now the business will now
have its own establishment and became a food house that will satisfy and bring happiness to the
customers. In addition chick- eat out aims to be known not just in Cotabato but also in the whole
world. The mission of the business is to serve quality yet and affordable products to provide
responsive service to understand and meet customer need and expectation and continuously
develop products. The goal of our business is to be one of the successful business in Cotabato
City and to help, inspire and motivate the people of Cotabatenos. One of our objective is to apply
the SMART principles to our business as it will be the entrepreneurs guide towards a successful
business and be responsible enough in handling a business.
The business owners are looking forward to help the Filipino people, the Local
Community and as well as the Philippine Economy. The importance of Chick-eat out to the
Filipino people is to help them to be guided in their wealth-creating venture in which this
business will motivate the Filipino’s how to work hard, socialize well with the consumers and
workers. This business will also give good services to others and earn money not just to feed
every Filipinos necessities but also to help those people who are in needs and by that, the
Filipino people will improve their financial and social life and it will also help to expand their
creativity in any terms such as using ‘word-of-mouth’ and buzz marketing. These strategies will
give benefit to the business as it will make the business to be well-knowned chicken restaurant in
Cotabato City. Chick-eat out business will not only give contribution to the Filipino people, but
the business will also help Cotabato City’s local community. As a Cotabateno, our business is
also looking forward to help our homeland—Cotabato City. Since Cotabato City is fund of
people who are willing to help the needs, Chick-eat out business is also willing and hoping that
in the future the business will expand and can help those people who are in need—specifically
the homeless people and to those aged people in Bahay Maria. It will also give opportunities as it
will open for job hirings and let Cotabatenos work freely and served everyone with happiness.
Since, in the Philippines numerous of fast food chain were established nowadays, this business
will encourage how to handle competitiveness and challenges and by that entrepreneurs will
keep improve and be more creative and innovative with the products that the business offers. It
will also help the economic recovery process of the Philippine during financial crack down and it
can assist the national government in its desires to have favourable economic rating in the world
market.
The location of the business is located at Sinsuat Avenue, Cotabato City beside the Aling
Precy and in front of the waiting shed. As the background check of this location it is safe and

Kamid, Shierhana Ammad, Ruhullyn Alfonso, Syarah Zainal, Namraida Kalon, Rasmia Otto,
Roger Tan, Jr., and Jeraldine Claer Embarao. Under the business form of partnership at a type of
manufacturing. The business only needs a small number of employees since it is a small
business.
The source of funds of the business are came from the individual owners and the
estimated budget of this business is P50,000. This budget will cater the needs of the business
such as tools, equipments, ingredients and the excess money will be provided for some
emergency purposes.
One of the key success factors of the business is to be guided the entrepreneurs by the
business’s VISION, MISSION, GOALS, AND OBJECTIVES. Business owners must follow the
salient features of entrepreneurship, the staffs must follow the rules and regulation of the
restaurant and must have cooperation with the customers, the workers and owners must feed the

position because he/she manages the business. The manager oversees the operation in the
business. The manager is the one who is responsible for all the action and decision making inside

the financial statements of the business. The broken line emphasizes that the bookkeeper is just a
part time job. The next positions were followed by Cashier, Cook and the Server. They have
same authority but still under in the authority of the Manager. Under the authority of the cook,
there is assistant cook who assists the main cook to prepare the products. Under the authority of
the server, there is a dishwasher who is responsible for washing dishes. Another who is under in
the server authority is the delivery boy who is responsible for delivering products to the
customers.

PACKAGING,POSITIONING and as well as the SWOT ANALYSIS.
3.1 PRODUCT
Chicken ‘el corchete is an innovative style of chicken poppers. “El corchete’ means
poppers in Italian term. Chicken ‘el corchete is a chicken poppers that deals with different
variants of taste and sauces. It is a meal combined with curly rice at the bottom and the chicken
poppers is at the top. The first product in the business will use the concept of rice meal in a bowl.
Customers can choose its own taste of sauce, it can be either a sweet and spicy or the honey
garlic. Honey garlic has different taste of sauce among other sauces than competitors offers,
sweet and spicy sauce is not a plain sweet and spicy but instead it has a sweet taste of sauce that
you can feel the spiciness of the meal. Chicken is sliced in cubes shape with breading such as
flour, egg and bread crumbs and it is fried deeply in a medium heat and make it crispy, as it is
thoroughly cooked. The business rice is made with a different flavour and essence, it is curry
rice. Curry rice is a best combined with the store’s flavoured chicken poppers. It is mixed with
white rice, curry powder, diced carrots, salt, pepper, garlic and onion.
Wrap ‘n roll is a lumpia meal that can make customer stomach full. It is different from
other competitors’ offers, it is filled with not just only with rice but it also contained with chow
rice. Chow rice is different from other plain rice, it is guees with plain rice, ground chicken,
cabbage, carrots, onions, garlic, soy sauce and cheese. Wrap ‘n roll is made in an innovative
style of lumpia as it is very convenient to eat for the target customers. The whole lumpia will be
sliced into three slices. Wrap ‘n roll can easily catch the markets attention as it will be eaten
conveniently in a friendly budget with the full stomach after. The sauce is made with sweet and
spicy as it will be the best combination for the lumpia. The sauce is composed of sweet ketchup
with chilli powder.
ChiTo-merienda balls comes from the general name of the product which is the “Chicken
Potato balls” with a mixed of witty thought inspired by the singer “Chito Miranda”. ChiTo-
merienda balls comes with a mashed potato, ground chicken, garlic, onion, and cheese. The
filling is filled with an innovative taste of mixed chicken and potato with a cheesy filling at the
middle. Chi-To-merienda is best when eaten during snacks.

The location of the business is located at Sinsuat Avenue, Cotabato City near the Aling
Precy store in front of the waiting shed along the highway. This is considered as strategic place
for the business because aside from it is near from the target customers, it can also attracts
potential customers that might turn as their beloved customers who will lovely to buy the product
they offers. Although, the place was already has a lot of establishing business, the entrepreneurs
take it as a challenge to stand out and showcase what products they offers. As a background
check the location is well-safe for the customers and a hundred percent convenient for the
costumers to go to. It is near the highway and is considered as a traffic area where people tends
to glance on it.
3.4 PROMOTION
Once a business advertises about it’s products goods and services, it is able to run in a
competitive environment.
Advertising is important for any aspect of the business. It plays an imperative role for
both manufacturers and consumers. The business will be using personal selling, sales promotion
and direct marketing in order for the customers to know the existing business. Advertising such
as video and radio ad is quite expensive so the entrepreneurs decided to just focus on the three
ways in showcasing the products. Personal Selling including including the personal interaction
with the customers, it is limited just to explain the benefits of the product as well as convincing
the customers that the products are worth buying for. Sales promotion, it is used to influence the
consumer to buy the product now and tomorrow. Sales promotions can take the form of
discounts, percentage-off deals and rebates. They represent short term incentives used by
companies to boost sales. The primary benefit of sales promotion is to induce customer traffic
and sales by offering a lower price and better value proposition. The company also uses use sales
promotion to achieve other non-revenue-generating objectives. When a new business launches,
for instances, promotions are a way to attract customers away from competitors. A start-up may
prioritize establishing a customer base before it focuses on profit. The business will also be using
a Direct Marketing promotion. Good direct marketing campaigns focus on promoting a specific
product or service, and call on your customers to act-to receive further information, register
customers interest, visiting the business’s website, make a booking or purchasing. Majority of
the people in today’s world of commerce many of the people are using different social media
platforms. So why not, the business level up to its promotion and bring it in internet world where
it can be more accessible and easy to check-in in just a simple click. A lot of potential customers

The business peoples including the cashier, cooker, manager, dishwasher, bookkeeper,
delivery boy and the server has designated roles in the business. And as a part of the company,
the employees must be carefully chosen from the day one of hiring process. The hiring process
starts in identifying the qualifications of each employee. Each applicant must comply the
requirements needed in the said position they want to apply for. The business will also be giving
interview for those who will apply. After the interview and discussing about the rules and
regulation as employee, there will be a demonstration to be conducted in order for the employees
to know the operational happening in the business, and specifically what and how they act as
employees.
3.6 PACKAGING
In terms of packaging, chick-eat out will be using a plain paper cup with the business
logo. Paper cups are environmentally friendly and comes at a reasonable cost. Most paper cups
are made of natural substances, meaning that they are recyclable and therefore a great way to
reduce your carbon footprint. Fortunately, it is also the fastest decomposing waste material and is
easy to recycle. The fact that is easy to crumple and makes it more compactable. It is also one of
the cleanest and fastest biodegradable materials. The two products of the business will use these
paper cups which is the chicken ‘el corchete and chito-merienda balls in order to avoid the
spillage, as well as to avoid dust and dirt that might stick in the product itself. For the third
product, the wrap ‘n roll will be using a bouqet made with newspaper to exposed the appealing
appearance of the product. The business will also provide paper bag if the customer will buy
three to five products. The packaging is environmental friendly and provides the necessary
information to consumers who needs to recognize the product through distinction and labelling.
3.7 POSITIONING
Chicken has been one of the most favourite food of the Filipino. The business “chick-eat
out” think more deeply and came up with the idea of serving different remarkably variety of
chicken recipe. That’s how the business position its business name. Chicken is just a normal
chicken but in ‘chick-eat out’ chicken in different recipes are all possible. They made it more
delicious and more innovative products that each of us will surely love and crave for a taste. In
line with the positioning statement, the business came up with the tagline “Chick ‘eat, let’s try it.
Let’s check it out!”
